50th Anniversary

Acknowledging 50 Years of Fighting Hunger
For 50 years, Feeding South Dakota has been dedicated to fighting hunger across our state. This milestone reflects the collective effort of countless volunteers, partners, and supporters who have made it possible to provide hope and nourishment to those facing hunger. Together, we’ve built a legacy of compassion and resilience, growing from humble beginnings into a statewide leader in hunger relief.
As we acknowledge this remarkable achievement, we look forward to continuing our mission, creating innovative solutions, and fostering partnerships that ensure no one in South Dakota goes hungry.

You can find the podcast on our YouTube channel or stream on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or Podbean. New episodes release every week on Friday!

From a food pantry in Sioux Falls, to a food bank in Rapid City we have evolved into the state's largest hunger-fighting organization distributing food into all 66 counties. As we reflect on 50 years of service, we know that we are feeding South Dakota thanks to the support and generosity of volunteers, donors, and community members who help us fill the tables of our neighbors facing hunger.
